
In our daily journey of our lives, we often encounter several things like problem, depressions and failures. These things affect us especially our relationship at home, our performance at work and especially our health. This thing often correlated to a very stressful life that affects our very own personality. So what’s stress all about? And how we are going to avoid stressful life in a simple way?
Stress often defines as natural effects of human activities, environmental conditions, life situations and emotions. It is sometimes link to our internal way of dealing with it. If we cannot handle those activities properly, this would affect our overall health and nutritional status, our emotional well-being and our resting period.
The only way we can handle stress is thinking and determining its causes, nature and negative effects. There’s a lot of ways to handle and turn down stress but my lists below are one of its fragments that I am using practically.
1. Regular Exercise -Most of those individual who are having stress syndrome believe that a regular exercise could minimize the production of stress hormones and neurochemicals. It is also a potent antidepressant, anxiolytic and sleeping aid for many people. Some of us also believe that proper meditation could turn down our stressful life.
2. Meditation -A 20-30 minutes meditation session per day can have beneficial effects on our health. Sometimes “YOGA” as a medium for meditation is a good example of turning down stressful lives.
3. Taking a Break -While at work, it’s very important considering breaks during lunch time and avoiding talks about work. It also nice taking a short walk rather than having coffee break. Considering relaxation during weekends and take regular vacations would also help us lowering our level of stress.
4. Consulting Stress -CounselorConsulting individual or group counselor as part of the stress therapy is also helpful during the process. They can give us proper steps, styles and wisdom to help us controlling every stressful situation.
Though the steps given about are just a few of those advisable ways on lowering down our stressful activities, we have to put in mind that having a positive approach in life could help us lowering and even avoiding the possible causes of stress. So avoid stressful life and consider living in a healthy and happy life. Just relax, enjoy and be happy! Let’s have a “NO STRESS” sign in our mind and work accordingly.
