
1.) Experienced a major tragedy or loss in their lives and direction which result in having difficult time in accepting the situation and adjusting to the "change". 2.) Experience in a major failure in life that led them to a question of their personal competency. 3.) Poorly develop self esteem which result to lack of belief in their personal goodness, skills and abilities. 4.) Never felt accepted by others in their life. 5.) A poor body image, making them believe that others see them in a negative light. 6.) Never received enough positive reinforcement or feedback from others about their talents and abilities. 7.) Always felt overshadowed or overlooked due to the people in their lives who seemed to be more successful, smarter, prettier, more handsome and the like.
It is always been recognized that people having this feeling develop a "low self-esteem" status in life. It is somewhat punishing yourselves because we have entertain this unhealthy feeling, a feeling that reduces or even destroy productivity in life, in work and in relationship with others. Chronically, insecure people also believe and live on the negative thoughts and actions. These actions are "I CAN’T DO" attitude. It is more like "I can never accomplish and that work", "I am failure". To enumerate some of those strange beliefs they are the following:
1.) Everybody is looking at me, just waiting for me to make a fool myself! 2.) I am ugly and awful to look at! 3.) I can never win. I am a loser. 4.) No matter how hard I work to achieve, I never get any recognition. 5.) I am incompetent in everything.6.) Once a failure is always a failure 7.) I am incomplete person and will always be that way 8.) I am so afraid that no one will like me.
Yes, indeed it’s unavoidable that in every situation which we are facing, there’s always failure. But we have to think and understand that failure is a part of our journey, and a journey with prayer and thanksgiving makes every situation simpler.Feeling of insecurity doesn’t end of what and how it is, if we are already getting tired of having it, why don’t we make change? To help you out about this feeling, I will give you the following ways:
1.) Be willing to put in vulnerable positions in life where others might get hurt. 2.) Take risks to change your current behaviour. 3.) Trust others enough to expose themselves to others, risking vulnerability and the possibility of being hurt. 4.) Have a healthy and humorous belief in order to overlook exaggerated need for acceptance and approval. 5.) Take a rational approach to each problem so that you are no longer inhibited by debilitating fears or beliefs. 6.) Practice assertive behaviour in lives, earning respect and the acknowledgement of others rights. 7.) Arouse the courage to take small steps in learning to experience success and overcoming their lack of belief in self. 8.) Break the barrier or outer shell of self doubt hidden behind and reach out to others. 9.) Open yourselves to possibility of success and accomplishment. 10.) Reward others for who they are.
The cure of this negative emotion comes within ourselves, the start and the end of insecurity feeling depends on our decision whether "to live it or let it go". But one more important thing, having a positive outlook in life will help us understanding things we are facing. We all know frustrations, failures and heartaches are always within our daily life but what is the most important about these things, is keeping your eyes straight on what you dreamed on, don’t look back and focus on your insecurity but rather take this as a challenge and key points on reaching star of your dream. Let go of your insecurity and be happy!
